Bagcilar is a district on the European Side of Istanbul. It was originally connected to Bakirkoy district, but in 1992 it became a district by itself. It is of 22 km² and it is located between the E-5 and the TEM Motorway.
The textile sector has developed in the district and provides many jobs. There are also important commercial units such as Istoc, Oto Center, Massit. Moreover, it is bordered to commercial units such as Tekstilkent, Giyimkent, İkitelli Organize Sanayi Area.
